What does repetitive work cost your team?
Most creative teams lose hours every week to the same production steps: resizing, versioning, packaging, exporting. Nobody owns that time, so nobody measures it. Put in your own numbers to see what it adds up to over a year.
Yearly cost of repetitive work
$165,600
2,208 hours a year
The formula
team size × repetitive hours per week × hourly cost × weeks per year
8 × 6 × $75 × 46 = $165,600
A Pipeline Audit measures these numbers on one real pipeline, then shows which of those hours a tool can take back.

How to use the number
Treat the result as a ceiling, not a saving. Not every repetitive hour can be automated, and some steps are cheaper to keep manual. The point is to see the size of the problem before deciding what to do about it.
For a real number, my Pipeline Audit maps one pipeline with the people who run it, measures the repetitive time step by step, and ranks what to automate first. My clearest result so far cut packaging and localisation prep from three days to three hours (see the Meta ad pipeline case study).
Questions
What counts as repetitive creative production work?
The steps that are the same every time and do not need a designer's judgement: resizing a master into every format, swapping copy and languages, versioning offers, labelling and cleaning up layers, packaging files for handoff, exporting and renaming.
What is a loaded hourly cost?
The real cost of an hour of someone's time to the business: salary plus benefits, equipment, software and overheads, divided by the hours they work. It is usually well above the hourly rate implied by salary alone.
How accurate is the result?
It is an estimate built from your own inputs, useful for sizing the problem. A Pipeline Audit replaces the guesses with measurements from one real pipeline, and ranks which of those hours a tool can actually remove.
