Showreel

01
Context
A reel is the fastest answer to whether the craft is there. The case studies on this site explain how the work was built and what survived after delivery. This is what it looks like at speed.
02
The problem
- 01Eighteen years across four industries and very different visual languages.
- 02Showing range without the reel reading as four different people's work.
- 03Making systems work legible in a format that rewards spectacle.
03
What I did
01
Cut for rhythm, not chronology
Ordered by pace and contrast rather than by date or client, so it holds through the middle where most reels lose attention.
02
Show the disciplines, not just the frames
Creative direction, art direction, layout, modeling, rigging, animation, compositing and render are all represented, because the range is the point for the kind of work I take on.
03
Let the case studies carry the reasoning
A reel cannot explain a motion system. It can prove the craft is there and hand you to a page that explains the structure underneath it.
04
Result
- 01One piece covering SaaS and technology, games, entertainment and advertising.
- 02Craft evidence for teams working out whether the systems thinking is backed by production ability.
- 03A direct route into the case studies, where the structural argument lives.
